Biography

Sarah has always had a love of singing. In nursery school, she was always selected for the solos and at lower school she took the lead parts in the nativity. Throughout her teenage years, she went on to take GCSE and A Level Theatre Studies and was a regular on the amateur dramatics circuit. Sarah took her Advanced Performers Certificate in Singing with the Trinity Guildhall 2009 and passed with a distinction of 98%, the highest mark ever achieved by her music school.

As a 1940s singer, Sarah has had the opportunity to perform at various events, the highlight of these so far being the international Twinwood Festival, performing to an audience of over 1000 people. At this festival, she was lucky enough to meet John Miller, Glenn Miller's nephew, who shared his performance tips with her.

Alongside her singing performances, Sarah continues to take to the stage in many amateur acting roles and teaches singing and piano to student of all ages. Sarah is also working on a project with the wonderful Lola Lamour.
